The new-generation LOA-105 uses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology for enhanced accuracy and response. It is completely compatible with LOA-104.

This Long-baseline Optical Anemometer is specifically designed for hostile industrial environments. The sensor uses proven optical technology to measure the airflow velocity. The system consists of an eye-safe transmitter, a receiver unit, and an electronics enclosure. The transmitter and receiver are placed at either end of the area to be measured and simply need to “look” through the air flow to determine the flow rate. The 1 kilometer path length allows the LOA to handle the largest area with ease. The LOA-105 has received EPA Method 14 Equivalency Approval
